Inspiration Thursday – Word Up

Word Up
If you’re anything like me, you don’t do a lot of journaling on your pages.  I tend to veer away from it because I was not gifted with writing skills or the ability to describe things properly that I am writing about.  This first layout, by yours truly, The Key goes to show that anyone can use a page for nothing but a little journaling.  I used Grungy Painted Circles by GreenEyedLadyDesigns.  It did take me a while to write it, but I felt good when it was finished.

Whatever your case may be, take a peek at the following pages from our Gallery that inspired me to try my hand at a full journaling page.  First up is Christmas Chaos by Christine Smith.  She evokes her feeling of chaos well with all the doodles, stamped bits and especially the alpha from her Color Play 4 Kits.

The last layout I pulled for you is called Books by Toucan Scraps.  She used some elements from the Follow Your Art – Explore Bundle.  I love that she journals about everything under the sun.

Journaling doesn’t have to be about something serious or thought provoking.  Something as simple as your love of books makes a wonderful page and lets future generations get to know you.  That’s what it’s all about, after all!

  1. Great journaling page ideas. Love the pages.
